Brow Lamination

What is brow lamination?

Brow lamination is a process where the brow hairs are chemically relaxed and straightened. This helps creates the look of full, fluffy brows by realigning the directional hair growth and enhancing the show shape. It is a three step process, (lift, laminate and nourish) and the results will be seen at the end of your treatment.

Who is this treatment best for?

This service is great for unruly brows, straight brows and those who are wanting to have fluffy and more full looking brows.

Not suitable for clients that have little to no hair, large gaps at the bottom of your brows or dry and damaged brow hairs.

You can not receive this service if you have recently had any aggressive recent facial procedures (chemical peels, microdermabrasion, micro needling and laser treatments).

Is tint or brow dye included in the Lamination?

If tint or brow dye is required there is an additional charge so if you are wanting some additional colour please just select the option on our bookings that includes the tint or dye. . For a standard lamination you will also receive a tide up of your shape with either waxing or tweezing if necessary. If you aren’t sure the difference between brow dye and tint please see these in our FAQ.

What is the aftercare like for Brow Lamination?

Keep brows dry for 24 hours.

After leaving your appointment with me you will have a nourishment treatment on your brows. Be sure to let this absorb over the next 12 hours.

Do not apply make-up to your brows for at least 24 hours.

Avoid swimming, sauna and working out. Any excess moisture after this time can cause slight curl/frizz to the brow hair.

Do not allow prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat.

Do not apply Retin-A, ANA or Exfoliants around the brow area for 72 hours either side of your treatment.

No self tanning products to be used on the face for one week prior and 48 hours after treatment.

You will be provided with an after card card to take home as well as a spoolie brush and some nourishing oil to help maintain the health of your hair, and boost brow growth post treatment.

How long does the lamination last?

If aftercare is followed correctly and skincare products aren’t directly put onto the brow area the service will last up to 6- 8 weeks. The brows do not stay stuck up, they will need to be brushed up daily and you can style with a brow gel or brow soap.

Brow Henna

What is Brow Henna?

Henna is a more natural approach to brow tinting. The purpose of this is to cast a shadow or create an illusion of depth and fullness in the area, visually filling in any sparseness. Henna is a natural dye made from a plant known as hina or the henna tree.

Who is this treatment best for?

Henna is great for people with sparse brow hair or clients looking for a more “full” look as it stains the skin as well as the hairs. Henna is not great for oily skin as it does not hold well.

What is the aftercare like for Brow Henna?

Do not rub the treated area.

Avoid heat treatments for at least 24 hours.

Do not apply brow makeup for at least 24 hours post treatment.

Avoid sunbathing and sun exposure for 24 hours to lessen the chance of the Henna fading.

Avoid swimming/saunas/sweating for at least 24 hours post treatment.

Do not exfoliate the brow area as this will cause the Henna to fade quicker.

Exposure to sun and UV lights for long periods of time will cause the henna to fade quicker.

Do not apply Retin-A, AHA or exfoliate around the brow area for 72 hours either side of the treatment.

How long does the Henna last?

Directly after the treatment, your brows will look quite defined and dark. They will slowly lighten with every wash. Depending on your skin type, facial products used will impact the henna stain.

Henna brows last longer on clients with dry or combination skin and less for those with oily skin types. Generally, we say it lasts up to 2 weeks on the skin and up to 4-5 weeks on the hairs.

Brow Tint

What is brow Tint?

Eyebrow tinting is the process of applying semi-permanent dye to enhance, shape and define your brows. We use brow code which is richly pigmented brow tints and it gives the appearance of bold and full brows.

Who is this treatment best for?

Regular brow tinting is great for clients that have full brow hairs but looking for a darker and fresh look but still looking natural. As the tint only lasts on the skin for a few days it’s not recommended for people with sparse brows.

How long does the Tint last?

Brow Code Tint lasts up to 2-3 days on the skin and 3-4 weeks on the brow hairs.

Is Tint safe while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Yes, our tint is safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Brow Dye

What is Brow Dye?

Lash and Brow Dye is an extra-long-lasting eyelash and eyebrow dye that colours both the skin and hair of the eyebrows and eyelashes.

Who is this treatment best for?

Brow dye is great for clients that are looking for a longer lasting colour. It is suitable for clients with any skin type, however for oily skin it may not last as long on the skin stain. It is great for clients with minimal or sparse brow hair as it will create a more fuller looking brow with the skin stain.

What is the aftercare like for Brow Dye?

It is recommended to not wet your brows for 24 hours after your brow service. This will ensure the colouring lasting and like any brow service, not cleansing your brows or using oils in your brow area will help to prolong the colour.

How long does the Dye last?

The colour is designed to be retained on the skin up to 2 weeks on skin, and up to 6-7 weeks on hair depending on your hair cycle.

What is the difference between Brow Tint & Dye?

Brow dye is a dye and not a tint. Brow tint is for more of a natural look as it only stains the skin for a couple of days and hairs for up to 4 weeks. Brow dye as mentioned lasts a lot longer. There is also more colour range so we are able to create different shades to suit our clients.

Lash Lift

What is a lash lift?

A lash lift is a great alternative to lash extensions. They are low maintenance and a no fuss treatment taking approximately 45mins.
Your natural lashes are carefully processed and lifted using solutions timed accordingly which will achieve longer and lifted looking lashes.

Who is this treatment best for?

Lash lifts are suitable for all clients with healthy lashes. The longer your lashes are naturally the more length we can achieve from the service.

If you have super short lashes we recommend using a lash growth serum which are available in our salon to promote some growth before trying a lash lift.

What is the aftercare like for lash lifts?

It is recommended to not wet your lashes for 24 hours after treatment and avoid saunas.
Do not use a water proof mascara. Normal mascara can be used after 24 hours.
Use the spoolie brush given to you at the time of your service to give them a brush.

How long does a lash lift last for?

Depending on your lash cycle a lash lift will last 6-8 weeks.

Is tint included in the lash lift service?

Yes tint is included in the service which just enhances the lash lift even more. We also use a very nourishing solution to hydrate your lashes during the treatment so they stay healthy and hydrated.

Hydra Facials

What is a HydraFacial?

A HydraFacial is much more than a traditional facial. Our treatment involves several steps that can be personalised according to your goals. It involves, cleansing, exfoliation, extraction and hydration and it is unique because it can effectively treat a wide variety of skin concerns with just one device. It was designed to incorporate the benefits of chemical peels, manual extractions, and microdermabrasion into a single treatment, but without the pain or irritation traditionally associated with them.

How long does a HydraFacial Treatment take?

The treatment time will vary in length depending on the treatment area and which HydraFacial treatment you choose. Generally, a full-face treatment takes approximately 30-45 minutes. It’s a great treatment for those needing a quick, yet very effective, skin rejuvenation treatment that gives long-lasting results.

Can anyone have this treatment?

Yes! The HydraFacial treatment is designed for all skin types including thinning, ageing, dry or oily skin.

If you have been treated with isotretinoin for severe acne within the last 6 months or have any active skin infections you will not be a suitable candidates for this treatment. Please also let us know if you suffer with allergies to shellfish or aspirin as some serums, we use may contain these product.

How long until I see results?

Many clients report seeing visible skin improvement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer. We don’t believe in quick fixes, so one treatment per month is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, oily and congested skin and are highly recommended to maintain skin health results.

Is there any downtime?

No, that’s the great thing about HydraFacial there is no downtown like most facial treatments. You maybe slightly pink/red after your treatment but that will settle shortly after treatment but you are able to wear makeup and get on with your day.
